Silly Little Rabbit

Hope everyone had a blessed & beautiful Easter!

We had a beautiful weekend for Chloe's first Easter. I get so excited to think of all the fun we'll have next year putting on a hunt for her! One of the traditions we had growing up was waking up to a toilet paper trail with candy on it that would run from our bedroom door and went all through the house, eventually leading to a huge chocolate bunny or a fun little basket of goodies. Then we'd go to church on a sugar high! I also used to love the backyard hunts that my Gramma would put on for us - she was a super good candy hider!

We decided to forego the Easter bunny pic at the mall this year {which I struggle to find anything but creepy} and instead did our own little shoot. She's not so excited about having anything on her head but we managed to get a few good bunny ear shots.....and they made for a yummy cake later!
I would love to hear about all of your Easter traditions....

I'm off for a quick run this morning...for those interested, I'll be posting about my running & training tonight.

Love the photo shoot. I don't blame you, I didn't take Cooper for bunny shots either. All my friends were like "WHAT"??
But I just didn't see it necessary, when we took him for the pics with Santa I wasn't comfortable with that big stranger holding my small child.

Anyways, I'm glad you had a good Easter, Cute pictures.

The 'Easter Bunny' hides all our kids baskets. My 16 yr. old requested his to be hidden really well this year. Well it took him 2 hours! I would say we were successful. Cute pix. PS-the Easter Bunny at the mall is scary!

Cute cake! I can't wait to get mine!! :)

Growing up we also went on an easter basket hunt upon waking. I like the toilet paper idea--I imagine toilet paper leading every which way in a twisty, turny, trail up and down stairs, in and out of rooms... so fun for older kids.
