Nursery completed!

Well, I'm happy to report that the nursery is completely done and now the 10 week waiting game begins for our little girl to arrive.
This room has been a so special to create and a true labour of love. What was once my home office, where I would spend many early mornings & late nights on emails & reports, will soon be replaced with rocking, feeding & lots of cuddles. The room turned out exactly how I wanted it to...creamy, dreamy & girly with a little leopard print sprinkled on top!

Many of the accessories I purchased off of Etsy - love love love that website! I'm contemplating starting my own shop on there to have an income while I'm home. Here's where I purchased:
  • Chloe leopard blocks
  • Vinyl growth chart
  • Wooden letter C above crib & wooden dress hanger (spray painted it silver)
  • Chandelier: Ikea
  • Clock: Jysk (I spraypainted it silver)
  • Artwork: Etsy
  • Crib & Changetable: given to us by fabulous friends! We painted them to match the wall color & added crystal knobs from Home Depot to fancy them up
  • Netting above crib: Ikea
  • Chair: recovered my grandfather's chair in a white leather-like vinyl

**Update: I'm thrilled to have our nursery featured on Spearmint Baby

I LOVE my body boppy pillow!! Rob bought it for me for Christmas and I take it everywhere with me! Totally worth it!! Some people like the snoogle pillow instead, but after looking at pictures I know it isn't for me. Look at both online and then pick one. Definately worth it!!!

Great job on the nursery... it's always nice to turn a home office into a nursery to create space for your wee one. Thanks for sharing!
