Morning Walks...

Chloe usually wakes up around 7am and will quite often stay awake until 12 or 1pm. This is not good. Over tiredness takes over and it gets harder & harder to put her to sleep through the rest of the day. And as I've said before - she fights sleep to the bitter end!

Well - I think I've finally found a nice morning routine that keeps everything on a nice schedule for the rest of the day. I feed her as soon as she wakes up, change her & take her downstairs to her swing. She stays happy in the swing for exactly 14 minutes while I make my oatmeal & coffee.

Then we go for our 30 minute morning walk in the carrier - what a life saver this has been! The fresh air gets her nice & sleepy for her morning nap, and she gets her dose of Vitamin D!

And Voila! Here she is asleep after our walk this morning! Sometimes I'll just continue to carry her around in the house while I do a few chores.

I would have never survived without my carrier... and long morning walks! That gives me a great idea for what Krewser and I will do tomorrow:)

Walking always seemed to put my little man out. At least you can get out and do that. I’m sure she’ll get there… How old is she?

Baby carriers have SAVED MY LIFE!! I think they love it so much because it's almost like you're pregnant with them again - they're all nestled up against your tummy while you go about your business!
